Ionization Method The XJ-3000C ionic air purifier uses "needlepoint"
ionization, which is an ion-producing technology that electronically
creates a high density of negative ions through the use of electrode
pins. Needlepoint ionization creates a higher concentration
of air-cleaning negative ions than any other ion-producing method.
Number of Needlepoints The XJ-3000C ionic air purifier uses
two needlepoint electrode pins.
A fan is also included to effectively distribute the negative
ions in high concentrations throughout the room.
Needlepoint Composition Corrosion-resistant, stainless steel
needlepoints are used in order to ensure durability and high
ion output throughout the life of the XJ-3000C ionic air purifier.
Negative Ion Output 12,000,000/cm3 (trillions per second) Negative
Ion Distribution Even though other fan-less air ionizers (a.k.a.
ionic air purifiers) produce a higher negative ion output than
the XJ-3000C, its fan results in a higher negative ion output
as you get a couple of feet or more away from the air purifier.
